On Thursday 17 May we had a very lively panel discussion, the first session in its new Ethics Series. It was an event organised jointly with the Canary Wharf Multifaith Chaplaincy and Clifford Chance.
Our discussion explored how people’s values inspire the way they do business – what happens when values are in conflict with business or organisations, and how our values influence business.
We were delighted that Philippa Foster Back, the Director of the Institute of Business Ethics agreed to chair the panel of distinguished guests including:
Paula Vennells – CEO, Post Office
Andrew Bailey – CEO, Financial Conduct Authority
Antony Jenkins – 10x Future Technologies Founder & Executive Chairman
Umer Suelman – Senior Manager COO, GLCM Digital, HSBC
Our panellist gave us much to reflect on generated a good discussion from the audience and over dinner afterwards. We invite you to enjoy the panel conversation through this video.
We look forward to the next event. If you would like to be kept informed then please do sign up
